As a community bank, we take pride in being a member of our communities, not only as a local business, but as an integral part of the daily lives of our residents.
When possible, we encourage our staff to get out in their communities and support causes that are close to their hearts. Last year, our staff logged just over 11,000 volunteer hours with various organizations and efforts, including Kiwanis, The United Way and The Boys & Girls Club. That’s about 55 hours per Chesapeake Bank employee.
Do you work at a business that encourages volunteering the community? Where do you like to spend your volunteer hours?
