Accept payments that work like you do — on the go!

Maybe you’ve been resisting the urge to do something about accepting credit card payments, or you find that you and your team are always on the go. If swiping credit cards behind a counter doesn't seem like an option that will work for your line of business, consider this-

“In recent years, the percentage of people who use their credit cards as their sole payment method (rather than to finance purchases) has risen dramatically,” said Jason Steel in Payment Method Statistics. “More than half of all credit card holders use their cards for everyday spending.”

This means that if you aren’t accepting cards, you may be missing out [on income] altogether.

The good news is you don’t have to stand behind a counter and accepting credit cards doesn’t have to be complicated.

As it turns out, there are a variety of ways that our Chesapeake Payment Systems team can help you accept payments on the go. If you’re a merchant that needs to make in-person payments outside of a physical building, our mobile processing solutions are just the ticket for you. 

How it works

Mobile processing involves the use of a cell phone or tablet device, with a card reader. Most receipts are delivered to the cardholder electronically by default. However, there are mobile printing devices if your team needs to produce a paper receipt.

Depending on your needs, there are a few different ways that we can configure your mobile solution. Newer terminal models offer Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability for all major platforms, which means that it can work with the cell phone that you already use every day.

Bluetooth technology allows you to process transactions without tying up your charging port. We also offer tablets with or without cellular service, so that you can process transactions on the tablet. This allows you to save battery life on your cell and keep your phone line free for calls. We even offer an iPad with a complete point of sale system, in addition to terminals that can be purchased or rented ‘as needed’ for special events.

How it compares

Additionally, the cost of accepting credit cards is a common concern when making the change. We're happy to report that we've recently revised our pricing structure as a customizeable solution for your business. Many efficiencies also come with making the switch; like time clock management, streamlined reports, and other cost analysis features- some that even reduce labor costs. All of these factors together can offset credit card processing fees, and even provide additional savings, depending on the configuration of your account and your needs.
