What do you do when you’re a bank that’s all about community, and you meet a person who’s all about community, too? You have coffee with them, that’s what!
Chesapeake Bank is thrilled to announce that it is the presenting sponsor for the 2019 season of Coffee with Strangers, a weekly podcast and video program hosted by Richmond influencer, Kelli Lemon. Coffee with Strangers is all about shining a light on the fascinating people of the Richmond community.
Topics range from business, entertainment, sports, culture and food, and guests on the podcast range from elected officials to everyday Richmonders.
“We think it’s so important to have in-depth conversations with people from all walks of life in Richmond,” said Frank Bell with Chesapeake Bank. “If you’re doing something remarkable for the community, your story should be told. And Kelli is the best person to help you tell that story.”
On National Coffee Day, the 100th episode of Coffee with Strangers aired to a group of community members at Lemon’s latest project, the Urban Hang Suite, a new cultural hub where people can connect with other members of the community, escape some daily stress, and of course, drink coffee.
