Felicia Stovall says the best part of helping her clients manage their wealth is knowing that she has genuinely helped them with important details of their lives entrusted to Chesapeake Wealth Management (CWM).

As our Wealth and Trust Officer and Senior Vice President of the division, Felicia says she loves helping people and credits her team, credentials, and experience–on both the trust and wealth management side–that help her provide the best services.

“I am fortunate to have many resources at my fingertips to help my clients,” says Felicia. “It’s the power of being a part of a community organization that gives me the flexibility, the discretion of all of the benefits of being local, committed to hands-on servicing, and having the bank as a partner with its outstanding 122-year reputation.”

Behind her name:

If you’re not familiar with the designations, Felicia has earned several that distinguish her expertise and skill. Here’s what the letters mean:

  • Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS®): As the site describes, The Certified Wealth Strategist ® designation allows Felicia to help her clients “clarify goals, create strategies to realize them and reshape strategies when circumstances change.”

  • Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA®): Offered through the American Bankers Association, the CTFA offers a standard of professional expertise in the trust industry upon completing a rigorous examination, requiring ongoing education.

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®): CFP designations are for financial advisors who have passed rigorous coursework (4,000-6000 hours of training) and an examination to prove their fluency in all aspects of financial planning. CFPs must always act as fiduciaries when providing financial advice to their clients and are obligated to continue their education even after receiving certification.

Additionally, she is a graduate of Cannon Trust School and holds a Master of Business Admin from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, along with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Presbyterian College.

Specialties include:
