Congratulations to Jessica Dehoux who was awarded the Path to Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship from the Mortgage Bankers Association!
The scholarship covers up to $2,000.00 in expenses that can be used for the registration fee of an educational offering or conference by the Mortgage Bankers Association in select focuses.
Jessica was one of the 167 women chosen in the fall 2022 campaign for an overall distribution of $148,000 in scholarship funds.
“I believe that females are essential and natural leaders,” says Jessica. “I have had the pleasure of working with many great women at my company that I look up to. I hope to be a strong example for other women, too. Receiving this scholarship has helped me further my education so that I can achieve that goal.”
Jessica is attending the first level of the School of Mortgage Banking--a three-level program. Her goal is to complete all three levels to receive the “Accredited Mortgage Professional” designation. The scholarship covered all of the cost associated with the registered class leaving some dollars left over. Applicants are encouraged to apply again (up to 3x) in the future and have up to one year to use awarded funds.
